Breathe Properly During Exercise for Best Results
One of the main problems clients have when doing resistance exercise is breathing correctly! When you feel dizziness after performing an exercise it’s because you were holding your breath shutting off blood flow to your brain.
To correct this problem you should Inhale on the eccentric phase and exhale during the concentric phase. Exhale while you're doing the hardest work, and Inhale as you is coming back to your starting position. Try to develop a rhythmic pattern of breathing corresponding with the exercise until reaching the required amount of time or repetitions. If you are new to resistance training, exaggerate your breathing slightly until you get a good feel for inhaling and exhaling at the proper times. For more information contact us!
