Less Stress, more leg switches

When I say more leg switches I really mean more cardio. Leg switches are just one many of the cardio activities you can do within the comfort of your own home; and you know how we love to showcase exercises that you can do from anywhere.
The weather is getting colder and we all know what that means, the holiday season is fast approaching, and for many of us it can be the most stressful time of the year. It can involve diligent planning for the holidays, extra traveling, or relentless house cleaning for family events. This may also involve strict budget planning to make sure you’re able to accommodate everyone on your gift giving list, and/or working overtime. You’re probably eating more (or less) than usual and lacking in an exercise regimen which kills energy levels. Everything it takes to accommodate this time of year can bring a heightened level of stress. That mixed with low energy is never a good combination.
Because of this you are probably engaging in activities that hold short term solutions such as:
All of which usually result in expressing irritability. Yes, taking a power nap sometimes works, drinking an extra cup of coffee may last a few more hours however doing a quick 10-20 minute workout energizes the body.
Working out gives the body a jolt and it can last a few days--or even weeks--depending on your consistency. It provides a good night’s sleep and energizes you in the morning without all the extras (sugar, coffee, ect).
Staying proactive with our health can make all the difference in how we approach these joyous winter months and the holiday season.
